Launch google-chrome as another local user

setup group for sudoers system:

groupadd chrome

groupmems -a user -g chrome

launcher shell script
/usr/local/bin/remote-chrome

#! /usr/bin/sh
# sxh

USER=”$1″
DISPLAY=”$2″
URL=”$3″

sudo su – $USER -c “google-chrome $URL –display=$DISPLAY”

setup sudoers system:

  • group “chrome”
  • execute “/usr/local/bin/remote-chrome”
  • no password

/etc/sudoers.d/10_chrome_remote_chrome
